All traffic is verifiable through a
reliable 3rd party tracking service.
In
any dispute between Buyer and Seller
regarding the amount of visitors recorded
at a website, it is our policy to compare
the raw logs generated by the hosting
company of the destination URL to our own
stats. It has been our experience that
Hitcounters have known weak spots over
which we as a company can exercise little
control:
* The counter has tracked the hits
incorrectly. (Counters, and particularly
the Free ones, often experience downtime
during peak periods)
* Some statistic service count a visitor
after 20 seconds. Our stats system tracks
a visitor after 8 seconds.
* The counter is inserted at the end of
the destination page.
(Visitors close the page or click on a
link displayed on the page before the
page,
and therefore the counter, finish loading)
* The server of the destination URL
experiences downtime
(The result is that your page will never
load as a popunder during that down period
and the counter, regardless of where it's
placed will not receive a hit)
